The Association of New Jersey Chiropractors (ANJC) excitedly and proudly welcomes Mark Doherty as their new Executive Director. He is joining a dynamic, results-driven Board of Directors.

After receiving interest from 60 top-level individuals from across the country for the position, the ANJC Search Committee narrowed it down to a potential 15 applicants. Three of those applicants were ultimately recommended to the ANJC Board of Directors and Mark was the unanimous choice to fill the position.

A graduate of St. Peter’s Prep, Mark went on to get a Finance degree from Loyola University Maryland. After graduation, he worked at St. Peter’s for a year before starting his career in politics. Mark served as Director of Constituent Affairs for Assemblyman (now Senator) Jon Bramnick and as Chief of Staff for Assemblywoman Nancy Muñoz. He has extensive experience in public affairs and the New Jersey legislative process. These are qualities the ANJC Board wanted to invest in so the Association could strengthen their position in the Statehouse.

Mark has extensive experience in researching and drafting legislation. He has worked to get legislation passed in both chambers and signed by the Governor. Additionally, he has a background in budgeting and fundraising for political campaigns, managed media relations, and building coalitions to support the passage of legislation.

“Having Mark joining the ANJC is very exciting and his work ethic and leadership skills, together with the ANJC Board of Directors ambitious agenda is something our membership will really appreciate.” Commented ANJC President Dr. Steven Clarke.

The ANJC Search Committee was comprised of Doctors Jim Campbell, Mike Acanfora, Anthony Calzaretto, Jay Mazzella, and Brett Wartenberg. They worked to find the best candidate to fit ANJC’s needs.

Dr. Jim Campell commented, “the ANJC is the only group fighting for Chiropractors in the Sate and our strength in unity and drive for appreciable results is something we desperately need. Now, we have the ANJC moving back to the top Chiropractic Association in the nation.”
