ANJC Revised Bylaw Updates: 30-Day Member Review & Comment Period

Dear ANJC Members,

As we have shared, the ANJC Board of Directors took the initiative to conduct a detailed review of the ANJC Bylaws, which have not been updated since 2018, to make a number of updates for a more current and complete document.

To amend the Bylaws, they require that we send out the proposed new Bylaws to members for a thirty-day comment period. We received a number of comments from members who shared constructive feedback and viable edits. We also received a number of requests for detailed information on the updates that were made.

The ANJC Board of Directors feels that transparency and trust are paramount. For that reason, the Board has decided to provide membership an additional 30 days to review the proposed bylaws along with an Executive Summary of edits and a copy of the current bylaws passed in 2018.

Review & Comment Details

  • Any ANJC member has thirty days from the date of this communication to provide any written comments to the ANJC State Board.
     
  • The commenting deadline expires on Saturday, November 23, 2024. To do so, please email your comments to Suzanne Corson, the ANJC Executive Director, at: suzanne@anjc.info.
     
  • Once the thirty-day comment period expires, the Board will review all comments and then vote to formally adopt the new Bylaws.
