ANJC Leadership Update

Jan 11, 2026 | ANJC News & Updates

As we begin 2026, I’m excited to share that this year stands to bring tremendous opportunity for the ANJC, our members, and the chiropractic profession across New Jersey. With major developments in state leadership, expanding professional visibility, and new initiatives within our association, we are entering a year of meaningful progress and possibility.

A New Administration, and a Seat at the Table for ANJC

New Jersey will soon welcome a new governor as the Sherrill-Caldwell administration takes office. I am honored to share that I have been invited to serve on the Transition Interdisciplinary Advisory Task Force.  Members of this task force will help shape the administration’s early policy and operational priorities by providing important feedback to both the Transition Action Teams and transition staff, ensuring key issues are considered as the new administration gets to work.

This invitation reflects not only the value of chiropractic care in our state’s healthcare landscape but also the respect the ANJC has earned as a trusted voice in policy, patient access, and provider advocacy. We will use this platform to continue advancing the needs of chiropractic physicians and the patients we serve.

Looking Ahead to Our 2026 Annual Conference

Our 2026 Annual Conference this May will be one of our most robust programs yet. We are thrilled to host national leaders in chiropractic, emerging innovators in healthcare, and experts in fast-evolving areas such as artificial intelligence. The agenda will include diverse clinical, practice management, and regulatory sessions plus a dedicated educational track for Licensed Chiropractic Assistants, supporting this critical part of our care teams.

We look forward to welcoming attendees from across the region and showcasing the strength and momentum of the New Jersey chiropractic community.

Welcome to Our New ANJC Board Members

Please join me in welcoming our newest members of the ANJC Board of Directors, Dr. Michael Acanfora, Dr. Anthony Calzaretto, Dr. David Friedman and Dr. Jay Mazzella. Their commitment, expertise, and passion for advancing chiropractic care will be essential as we continue to grow our influence, expand member value, and elevate the profession statewide. We are grateful for their willingness to serve and look forward to working closely together in the year ahead.

As we move into 2026, the ANJC remains focused on advocacy, education, and supporting the daily work of chiropractic physicians across New Jersey. Thank you for your continued dedication to our patients, our communities, and our profession. I look forward to all we will accomplish together in the year ahead.
