Founded in 2003 by Harlan Pyes, Harlan Health Products has built a reputation for providing best-in-class equipment, expert training, and exceptional customer service to chiropractic and rehabilitation professionals nationwide.


After 20 years serving the Chiropractic Profession, in 2003, I began Harlan Health Products.

There were several changes on the horizon in our industry, and opening Harlan Health Products, Inc. was the way I could ensure to continue to serve the Profession the “best in class” equipment and expert training and support.

To me, this is all about helping our customers provide their patients with great outcomes while having a great experience.

It is amazing for me to think I have been in this field for over four decades.

I think the biggest shift is that practitioners have had to settle for little to no support when they purchase equipment. Customer service levels seem to be at an all-time low. I know that sets Harlan Health Products apart.

We are available and supportive when our customers need us.

Our customers who work with us often make comments like, “I’m so glad I found you. I never had such a positive experience purchasing equipment before.”

This is a tough question because it is really important to have a complete toolbox to effectively treat the broadest spectrum of conditions.

When asked a question of this nature, I normally answer with this analogy…”If a plumber comes to your house and only brings a wrench, would you let them in?  Of course not. You’d want them to bring all their tools so they can fix the problem effectively.

Patients want the same thing from those they trust to care for their health and well-being. Practitioners today really owe it to their patients and profession to be prepared with a full complement of equipment to offer the very best available options.

This is truly a remarkable organization. Every year we attend the ANJC Conference, the BEST part is re-connecting with so many ANJC members that we have served for years, meeting new potential customers, and introducing the newest technology to help them get outstanding treatment outcomes.

For us, it is really all about the people.

Of course, the entire healthcare environment is more competitive now than ever.

In order to compete successfully, they need to focus on their patients’ experience from their first telephone call until they resolve their health issues. Keep the office clean and fresh, bring in the latest technology, and get rid of the old “workhorse” equipment.

All this makes a loud statement to their patients about the care they will receive and answers the question, “Am I in the right place here?”

Like any business, it is important to upgrade and not be outdated.

I have said it for years…the best practices get the best results.

Investing in products sends a message to your patients that you are current and up-to-date with everything in your office.

When you upgrade your current modalities or add new things, like decompression, shockwave, or laser therapy, they build excitement and enthusiasm and send a message to patients that they are in the “right” place.
