Rehab Webinar - Introduction to Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS)

Dr. William Tortoriello

Introduction to Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS)

Dr. William Tortoriello

1CEU*

The intent of this presentation is to introduce the viewer to the DNS approach towards posture,
movement, and stabilization. DNS was the creation of Pavel Kolar, a student of such rehab
pioneers like Karel Lewit and Vladimir Janda, and current Director of the Prague School of
Rehabilitation. DNS provides a principled and foundational framework by which all human
movement has developed. DNS is not just a technique, but rather an overall strategy designed to better understand the neurophysiological principles of the locomotor system.
